I should have posted this looong ago but whatever.

Last year, I bought an Audiobahn sub from nikos to put in my g/fs trans am.
He got the money and I got the sub. Perfect. So far so good....

I drop it off at her house cause her dad had a guy come over who he was friends with and had experience with it. I guess he didn't trust me....anyways.

I go by there later that day to see how its going and I get there and the guy tells me that the sub has a busted voice coil. Odd.....
So I checked it myself with a volt/ohm meter and sure enough...it was.

Well.....after looking like a ******* in front of her dad and his friend...we get it hooked up and get it playing. Now its making rattling sounds and crap.

So, in hope to set it all straight I go and buy her and new Lightning Audio sub. I put that in for her and now its all good. 3 weeks later the LA sub is blown (go figure)

So, I put the Audiobahn back in and turned down the gains so it doesnt rattle as much.

Well, I informed nikosbuddy of all this and he was real cool about it. He called me and stuff and told me he was going to send me a new sub. Awesome!

Well.......months went by.....and no sub, no refund, no nothing.
I was really really patient with him. I let him do his thing and didnt get on to him about it. Well finally I told him to forget about it, I was tired of waiting.

Now the Audiobahn has been trashed b/c she got tired of the rattling and her dad was tired of it too. Now Im left looking like an idiot who cant even get his g/f a good sub. Prolly the first mistake I made with that one was getting her an audiobahn.

Anyways, I was just going to bring this to everyone's attention just so you know.

Well....as I said the sub has been trashed and ive bought 2 subs and both died on me.

I bought the sub from him and then went and bought a new LA sub and it blew and then put the audiobahn back in and then it got trashed.

Let me get it straight, I told him after a long while of waiting not to worry about it if it was too much trouble, which is what flakko posted, but he insisted and kept insisting he make it right. But he never did, its like he fell off the face of the earth.

So basically lost contact and I pretty much forgot about it after that.

Dont get me wrong, I think hes a good guy.
He always insisted he fix it. He even called me as soon as he read the PM I sent him about the sub being busted and he asked what was wrong.
He told me they were his friends and he knew one of them were busted and he said that he must have sent me the busted one.

I think your mistake was saying dont worry about it to him. Once you did that you lost all claims in my book, sorry. No matter if he was taking his time or not once you said dont worry about it instead of asking him to make it right you gave him clearance to not give you crap.
