Calling out 808AutoFashion - confess your sins!

To make a long story short, I received a piece of **** JL Audio 500.1 amp when I thought I was buying one "BNIB." This is the original for sale post: http://www.caraudio.com/vb/showthrea...light=jl+audio

Last time I checked, BNIB means "BRAND NEW in box" but for this seller, it apparently means something else :eyebrow:...and your guess is as good as mine what the hell that is!

I think the seller in this transaction, 808AutoFashion aka Shannon Guillerimo from Yuma, AZ suffers from a rare condition in which he can not tell the difference betweennice, new car electronics from beat up, scrached, dirty and damaged junk! Fortunately this condition affects so few in the population, but those that have been stricken with this condition, Dumb *** Disease (D.A.D), end up with reputations as BAD people to do business with.

In several cross sectional studies, individuals with D.A.D like Shannon Guillermo from Yuma, AZ are in fact nice and cooperative until they are confronted with their "disorder." Upon confrontation, Mr. Guillermo did what most with D.A.D do initially. He was all about fixing the stuation and "making it right," but when push came to shove and he actualy had to give me my money back for the pile of crap amp he sold me, Shannon Guillermo from Yuma, AZ was no where to be found. They won't respond to your PM's or to your messages left on their voice mail....not even if you call them every other day for a week!!

Shannon Guillermo from Yuma, AZ as well as other assholes with D.A.D. are notrious for pulling **** like this all the time because they think that admitting that they made a mistake (honestly or not) is the same thing as actully solving the problem. This is another symptom that ****'s with D.A.D have, they think by ignoring the problem that it will just go away....yea right!!;)

So, Shannon Guillermo from Yuma, AZ (self-discribed "worship pastor in training") if you are reading this post and would like to set the record straight and fess up to your sins, the chance is all yours. Otherwise it's up to you and the Lord to sort this mess out....and we are all praying that you do the right thing!!:D

Maybe those who are reading this can send Shannon Guillermo a note wishing him good luck in dealing with the consequences of his actions:

Shannon - I just got the amp and opened it up and I am very disappointed!! I can't believe it, this thing NOTHING like you described!! It is beat to hell, it is dirty, it has nicks and scratches all over it!! What the hell man!!! You said that it was "BNIB" and only saw "one minute of power"??? This thing looks like it has been rolling around in someone’s trunk for years!!! I mean you can't be serious - in all honesty this amp is hardly worth HALF of what I paid for it. I THOUGHT i was getting what you described it to be "(1) - JL Audio 500/1 (BNIB) $300/obo + shipping" What you sent me is DEFINATLY NOT what i paid for. If i knew the amp was in the condition it is in I would never have even considered buying it - EVER.

Please give me some type of reasonable explanation for this!!

Shannon - I lift you a message this morning at 928-246-7898 about the amp. I didn't get a chance to verify if it works ok or not. At this point I would like a refund on it because if the condition it is in. I had thought about offering you something for it but I will leave that up to you to set the price you want and sell it to someone else....I don't have an idea of what it's worth, but it is definitely not worth $xxx!!

If you could please send me a money order for the $xxx via Priority Mail just like I sent you that would be great. When I get it I will ship the amp back to you right away. We will each be out the $10 or so for shipping and call it even at that. If the amp showed up with a few scratches and signs of minimal use then it wouldn't be a big deal to me - but this amp is damaged goods man....no where near BNIB.

Please let me know when you sent it out.

Well my investigation tactics worked!! He just e-mailed me back and I will keep this thread updated on the developments. Dude sounds like he's in a rough situation, but maybe he should have thought about this before he tryed to sell me a POS amp!! I love how people find themselves in "circumstances" but can't find any reason why they are in them or how the got in them...must be God's divine will :rolleyes:

Well I heard back from this guy and he did say that he was "trying" and that he's "sorry" but paying me back is not on his list of priorities right now. He then gave me a whole list of excuses why the doesn't have the money, which may be ligit I don't know - he could just be lying out of his ***!!

Anyway, since I NEED my money back on this amp I figured out a great way for both of us to remedy the problem safely and effectively. I will create an Ebay auction and sell him back the amp for the exact same price I bought if from him. That way we both have PP protection and he can use a credit card to pay me back since he obviously doesn't have the cash. PLUS he can save $25 by using this PP coupon: C1-Holiday2005.

Now if you were labeled a scammer and had a chance to clear your name plus get out of the deal for $25 less, wouldn't you jump right on it??? We'll see what happens!! :up2somet:

Well now the story is that he's "trying" despite the fact that he had the opportunity to save $25 on the deal...hell even more than that because I would get stuck with shipping his junk amp back to him plus the PP fees. Un be liveable!!!! Who doesn't have a credit card these days???? Seriously, anyone??? This must be the only person in America today without a **** credit card.

The worst thing about it is that he think's he's off the hook because he "thought the amp was BNIB". Well what the **** dude, I don't care if you are selling a dead skunk to someone you still have to know what the hell it is that you are putting you name on. NO F'IN INTEGRETY I swear.

I'm lucky if I ever get my money back. He claims that I will but not till NEXT YEAR...like I have any more patience to wait another month with this guy.
