If the packaging is as it was stated ups will deny the claim, plain and simple. Ive read there shipping standards and if YOU packaged it, and the packaging is as described, as I have yet to see you refute, the insurance claim is futile. It will be a waste of time and your 11 bucks was wasted on insurance. Proper Packaging solves these issues ....

It was packed better then they said. I made sure it was packed tight and that there was no movement inside the box. I took the box and shook it and nothing was moving inside. I've sold over 100 items online, and only 2 including this one have been damaged. It is UPS who should determine whether the package is packed poorly or not. Not you or these Texans.

Right. If UPS denies the claim, icetee provides the refund.

But it looks as if people have already done things to it in an effort to repair to that would eliminate this possibility.

I am not sure chad is implying that you improperly packaged the amp. I think he is suggesting the evidence implies it. Don't lose too many friends here.

I live in Roscommon Michigan, we don't have places like Post Boxes etc.

An agreement of $75 was reached. Paypal claim was dropped. All would have been settled. Ice changed his mind.

ice wanted a UPS claim. Buyer didnt want to have the amp leave his hands now that paypal claim was lifted and no leverage as a buyer could be had.

I myself offered to personally return amp to Ice packaged by myself 10 times better then a few sheets of paper. With a COD attached so every party would be resolved. Ice refused.

I just dont see why a refund couldnt take place and then Ice get the money from the UPS claim.

Ice then gave 4 options
1)$75 and amp
2)ship back and full refund
3)ups claim
4)nothing more

That is where we ended lastnight with it up to the buyer and seller. I see the $75 was reached as ORIGINALLY agreed upon.
