Hey Bass911,
Sorry about our mistake with the poor customer service on yesterday's phone call. Danny might have been having an "off" day. Anyways, I apologize about that. I want to start recording calls for quality control. To offer better service, we keep internal notes about each call. I see you've called three times, and have always have spoken with Danny.

Yes, it would make sense that you could just extend the cathode's white wires, but unfortunately the technology doesn't really allow it. The wires between the transformer and tubes carry high voltage alternating current. Extending them can result in significant resistance and voltage drop, thus dimming the cathodes tubes.
There's further explanation on the cathode product page (
http://www.oznium.com/cathode-kit ), under the FAQ section "Can I extend the white wires past the transformer?"
I think you might be happier with our 10 inch LED piranha bars instead. They don't need a transformer:

Thank you for your continued support.
