Mcclaren was awsome for an car so old. veryon is much more sexier but. if i had the cash id def get the F1 simply because its very old and still spanked that veryon in the quater mile.
Mclaren is an F1 designed pure race car for the streets, where as the Veyron is what Bugatti visioned to be the ultimate car. 1000hp, 4wd, and every amenity that would be possible in a full blown luxury vehicle. Oh yea and it does 253mph and 0-60 in 2.5 sec.
Mclaren will be a supercar forever, just as the Veyron will be for years/decades to come. They were the benchmarks and the ultimate supercar for their times and the Mclaren still is on par w/ almost every other current supercar built, as will the Veyron years from now. The only knock on the Veyron is that it weighs so much and doesn't have great handling. If Bugatti wanted to build a full on club racing version w/o all the amenities, it would smash track records for production cars. But that's not what they built the Veyron for and that's why they will never build a stripped down version.
I've been in both cars before(Limerock park in the Mclaren F1 LM version)(Bugatti Veyron around Watkins Glen).... Both cars are two different animals and that's why you truly can't choose one or the other. The Mclaren is super loud inside, uncomfortable, but ungodly fast, and incredibly handling. In a sense it feels like you're in a full blown race car. The Bugatti is super comfortable, quiet interior, terrifying launches, endless power/torque(no sense of where an actual power band is), and while being terrifying fast(noticeably quicker than the Mclaren) the feeling is that you know you're on the edge from the looks, but the feel is completely civil.
There's my long typing/reviews of the day....

veyrons are ugly IMO id take a mclaren much better styling at probably half the price or better than both a Hennessy Venom1000 or SSC Ultimate Aero TT
