Factory specs. Performance was stepped down.. It may have been due to the Japanese Car Manufacturers promising that they would not make a sports car w/ over 280 HP.. I think that started around 98 or 99.. i can't remember. that could be the cause for the drop in HP from over 300.

Because i know that the RX-7's, the EVO's, the Skylines, and any other Jap. sports car cannot be sold w/ over 280 HP.. I just don't know the exact date when that came into effect.

Depending on low to high end I believe they start at base of $100 and peak off around $2000 or so. All of the HCCA or top end line are from $400 (25wattsx2) to $1300 (100wattsx2). Worth every penny, every step of the way when you consider that $1300dollar unit can push 2000watts on a 1ohm mono load and still be crystal clear.

hmmmmm... but I know that our 3000GT is sold under the GTO name in Japan, so i imagine that the japanese market would be larger for that car, causing the leak in HP to make it's way over to the US as well..

I think cars would be a good subject for THE Thread.. i mean, we all love cars (i think i'm overly obcessive), and Car Audio..

That is why I am planning this a LONG way ahead. May not even be until next spring or summer, but would like to be able to get an idea of who would be interested in seriously doing this? I know I have made a few friends on here and just thought it would be kewl at some point to have an organized event for all of us here!

im pretty sure it was 250 as teh new Maxima's were teh first ones to break teh 'agreement'

Series-parallel is widely used and even recommended by many manufacturers in running a DVC set up. It should be perfectly fine for you to run it that way.
