Well TeXaN the best way to make a truck loud is a port through application, weither or not you want to butcher your truck is your choice. But man you can make a truck loud, you could make it a great comp truck. Great for street 1-2 or ss1-2 NW

Are you going to use this to compete??? if its just a daily driver id tune the box a little lower. If your going to do comps then the tuning is fine id just make the box a ill bigger.

wuts the difference i will hear from tuning 45 as opposed to tuning, lets say, 30?

more low end response, especially if you listen to lots of rap with thick bass lines like 36 mafia or any of the dirty south rap, ugggghhhh. My box is tuned to 33hz and man it kicks. Up in the 45+ range is just usually tuning for comps. The best thing to do is contact DD tell them what you have and what you want to do and they will tell you everything, like tuning freq, port size.

how i came to my box design was from there website...
I do want to compete because i am doing some major work revolving around my audio system, but nothing major, just go there just to be part of the car audio scene, doesn't matter if i suk, i just wanna be part of it, but i dont want to be changing boxes everytime...my port is 12.5x6x13......ughh...the box is almost done t0o, all i need to do is put the top on and cut the holes....nutter butter

TeXan use private emssage and talk to Rangerman,. he is a small enclosure genious. Does MTX make a thunderform enclosure for your truck? maybe Q-logic makes somerthing custom for u. Also isn't there a company that made a 12" the depth of one or 2 AA batteries? maybe one or 2 of those would fit good in there? Hit us back with exactly what ur going to be looking for as far as an SPL/SQ mix, how much (if any) of ur truck ur willing to adapt or remove.
