I never thought that the mag was a spl woofer, i thought that it was a Great sq woofer that can get loud. people are talking as if these woofers are made for competition or something rather than a capable woofer at effectively reproducing bass frequencies with authority and blending well with the front stage!!

Well i love having a 15, shallow or not, just for the fact that I can have 1 15 and be a happy rather then spend money of 2 12's. I just want to be able to have the SQ and the ability to successfully blend with my front stage with 1 woofer. Thats all. Shallow mount is just a perk IMO

P.S. Im sure alot!!! of people on here would love to have a new 15mag

I can't help but feel like I got PWNED by buying the old Mag. All I really wanted was a strong sealed box SQ woofer with balls. I spent $450 on a Mag hoping it would fit that bill, and what I ended up with was a power hungry ~50hz F3 driver that couldn't hit the lows in my car. I wish I could just trade my last year Mag in for a new one.

I am sure someone will be willing to do that on this forum based on the way its being received by some people... Seen mags go for $250 in good condition.

I can't wait for the new mags myself.
