Eclipse Subs and Amp: Best Buy henchmen claims they suck

I personally dont know anything about Eclipse. I have heard good things, but have no personal experience. All i do know is that recently my local dealer just dropped Eclipse because they were having a lot of problems with the products. Lots of people coming back with things not working properly, and when they confronted Eclipse, they didnt really seem to care about the problems. This isnt some kind of cheapo shop either. They sell quality products for example, Alpine, Boston, JL etc... Just my two cents on the Eclipse issue

I have had 4 eclipse head units, and all have been wonderful. I know that you want to stick to one brand but Sundown makes really good amps. (from what I've seen and heard) Look into a saz-1500. Good clean, solid power.

Alpine carried by Best Buy? Must be new cuz I've never seen it.

I'm talking high end quality stuff, to which when I compare the likes of Kicker, Sony, JVC, and many of the other "big" electronics names etc... They just don't compare. Are they decent products, good products? Absolutely.

Are they on the level of Eclipse, TRU, JL, Xtant, Morel, MB Quart? No. Rockford has made a nice comeback. For a while their stuff was crap too.

Rockfords stuff was good but now its not so great.

And IIRC Rockford is carried at BB and CC.

No, they won't be. The new Eclipse subs are going to be built by FST.

Which series? I own Pioneers, Pioneer premier, and the eclise 8200. The 8200 dominates both pioneers.

Some of Eclipse's Top Of the line radios are very comparable to Premier, if not better, in some peoples opinion. Eclipse is by no means a "Bargain Brand". They do offer base model units just like anyone else. But far from "Bargain Brand".

I'm sorry I forgot where I was, lOl. Eclipse market is targeted towards new and lower level buyers, this is a fact. I am not saying they are terrible or even bad but when you have enough money to purchase better equipment they don't look all that great anymore. Most people disagreeing with me are new, pretty new or just haven't been around long enough to know the difference and I am in no way knocking you but as you get older you will know the difference. BTW I am 35 and have been into car audio since I was 11 when I installed my first EQ(Pyramid) into my aunts 83 mercury capri and that is when Pyramid was the sh!t, lmfao god forbid...
