FI or TC sounds

i know that this forum is all about FI but
i've herd alot of good and bad about them, TC sounds have been making woofers for years and i hardly ever hear anything but good things about them.
i herd from numerous people that FI is a knock off of TC and copies thier designs.
whats the truth on this because the FI dose look alot like TC's
and i'm trying to decide FI or TC and when i pick 1 of those it will be between that brand and DD
for 2 10' or 2 12's in a enclosure ported to 38 hz

they don't look the same at all to me...

personally i would go with tc if I have the money, and because their sub don't need large box to perform well, judging by what they recommend.

If you're basing looks off of the 12 spoke basket than everyones been making knockoffs for quite some time.

yes i've seen tons of woofers with thay same basket, but i'm just stating what i've herd.

i'm looking at DD 2500 and 3500
TC 1000 and 2000 but the 1000 has more Xmax
and FI bl or btl
bit the FI's are the most costly out all the above
i know someone thats sponsered by DD and he can get me a great deal.
but i've never herd TC or FI

you must be drinking... TC has a different basket, surround, cone, motor, coils... but of the two, I would choose TC if you're talking about the 3k or better. otherwise, i would choose FI.

but i've never herd or seen either in person or herd either.

dude no one here has even herd of FI or TC
all you can get in shops around here is rockford, JL, alpine and memphis.

Why are you considering such a wide variety of subs? The Tc-1000 and BTL are two totally different leagues, and just because a subwoofer has more xmax does not make it better then any other sub.

FI and TC are nothing alike. Some of TC's drivers come with 12 spoke basket. I would have to say depending on power and what you looking to do would depend on which company would be better for you. Both good companies..

i just looking for some thing to put in a fart box with a visonic v4000xd
and those 3 companies are the top 3 i've read about on this site

yes we also carry eclipse herebut they are costly and i am pertty stuck on those 3 brands.
