    Good, high powered 6x8s?

    I'm looking for some good quality high rms 5x7/6x8 speakers. At least 75w RMS. I don't know my budget quite yet, it really depends on the speaker. Opinions wanted.

    alpine type r , polk mm's or the db 's both handle lots of power and sound pretty good and dont cost that much.

    yes to the polk hell no to the alpine they are horrible unless u get the z or pro's
    try mbquart pvi series spendy but well worth it
    as well boston are top notch

    you can run 125 rms to the sl80 easily

    Idk much about speakers. I wanted to get the Digital Designs 5x7s but they quit making those. Are the alpine type r speakers bad? What about RF?
