jl 8w0's or IB8's (if you can find them) in the lower doors
boston SL80's or jl audio XR or ZR570's up high.

    great experiences with either

I'm also looking to start the stereo upgrade process for the 06 Mustang GT "Shaker 500".

First I want to upgrade the rear speakers.

Was looking at the Kenwood KFC X680

    Future Thoughts:

Fronts: Possible the same as the rears

    Sub & Enclosure: Haven’t' decided as of yet, 1 10" or 1 12".

    Suggestions Appreciated.

The newer mustangs will take upto a 7" mids high in the door. If you have the shaker then I would go 3-way up front with 8s low 5s or 6s high and tweets. I run 7s high with tweets in the A-pillars. 8443 is a good deck as long as you dont want mp3. I would start with 1- 12 sealed and if its not loud enough then add another. theres not alot of room in that trunk. I have 1 sealed in a 1.2cf box and if I had 2 there wouldnt be much room left.

I have the shaker 500 in mine and its worthless, with the windows down on the interstate you can barely hear the stereo.

I've been eying the dynaudio 360's but hard justifying the cost. The stock door sub enclosures are 12 liter, does anybody know if that would work well with dynaudio's 8" woofer?

I figured the 3" mid and tweet would fit well up high in the stock location.
