N00b status....just like me at my first comp



Though I still won by 3.1 dB. Those fools were so upset because they had a pair of JL W6's with a 1000/1 amp. I had the DD 9515d with the Treo SSX 1500.1 wired at 4 ohms with 1/0 power wire and 8 guage groud (didn't have a long enough 1/0 wire for the ground at the time). Got loud as shit even with stock electrical when I had the Soundstream XXX 6500 on it. Ah, the good ol' bass head days

I did 144.6 with my 1 solox10 dual 2 ohm, legal. That was on a stock alternator, and one stock battery up front and a goldtop (auto zone) duralast in the back. This was done in the trunk of a 2000 mustang. Burped at 58hz. 0gauge to the trunk, from the front battery. Funny thing is my epic 160 read 149dbs, and only 144.6 on the new TL. Voltage dropped from 14.4 to 9.8volts. My 2 phd5000 amps didnt go into protect mode either. I have since added two 2400 kinetiks and a 250 amp alt, I never drop below 12.5 volts. My advise is maybe try a different box. It sometimes could help. But 141dbs is a very good start. good luck adding to it.

58 hz jeez.

 
metered the 9515g today and it was great...thankx guys who picked the dd over the bahns...i hit 145.3 with one dd of the solid audio amp at one ohm...failed to test the bahns at .5 ohms though...but i like the fact that one sub can do that...

 
Grats. Was that on the tl or audicontrol ?

As everyone else has posted there's. Best to date is a 144.5 with 1-L5 15 and 1600 watts. Behind the 3rd row seat in a minivan. Freq was 50hz. Not bad for the amount of space to pressurize.

 
Damnit. Wish I still had my TL and my Accord. Would love to have seen what I did with my TC 5200 at 28 Hz - 32 Hz. With music I was doing a 137.5 or so constantly on music at 32 Hz with the RL-p...didn't get near as loud as the 5200 when I had that in on the temp setup.

 
I'm currently doing a 150.2 outlaw, 147.6 legal with the 21" Autotek....in a burp box....at 57hz. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

When I had my three MJ-18's I did a 147 at 55hz, 145 at 38hz, and 143 at 32hz....box was tuned to 33hz though.
