We had a LOT of cars before the rain, but around 1/2 didn't want to tough it out. I drove about 2 hours to get there, so it was going to take SNOW to make me leave!!!!
Team DOA was represntin VERY well. Love how they rolled up "parade" style wit dem fine lookin rides. I'm gonna have to step up and get some spinner hub caps, so I can stay on the team. Man those DOA guys have some nice boxes, well except for me...
I took 15 Ibuprofen throughout the day, and still listened to talk radio on the way home as my head was F U C K E D from all the demos I did.
PROPS to Tommyk for getting the TL working, supplying the grill, and just being a cool as guy in general.
Met a lot of people and heard a lot of cars. Loved the one guy with a FI sub and FI logo on the box, so I ask him what sub he's running.......and goes "a FI". LOL Thanks Captain Obvious.
The van was ghetto, but cool in that respect and his roof flex was the best metal slapping sound I've heard. That thing WILL fall apart in due time, so get those extra amps installed!!!
Funny how DD/AQ seemed to be the subs of the day, and I don't think I saw one JL there. Guess we don't know what we're doing or just don't want to be "that" loud.
I'm ordering 4 more tweets and making a dash enclosure for them, just to screw with the locals who love the +12 treble setting. You want tweets, I'll show you obnoxious tweets.
Happy to say the AQ's didn't even get stinky with the amps strapped at .75, but that elusive 150 was close, but not there. Oh well it's an SQ car so it's all good...
