I have double layer 20% on sides and back with a 10" 5% bar and 40% the rest of the way down on windshield and you cant see in but I can see fine in storms and at night...just a thought for anyone and gl selling the car, Id like to have it but no monies
Yeah that's what I'm thinking about doing with the windshield, how obvious is it that the windshield is tinted with the 5% brow and lighter % below it? Trying to re-tint the windshield but in a way that when I get pulled over for it I can blame it on the black interior + rear tint being the reason they cant see in.

from the outside its not really noticeable at all because everything is dark. I get pulled over quit a bit and Ive never had any cop ask about my windshield and they always look at my inspection sticker which I cut out for.

When mine was 5% it was obvious, with all doors open and all windows down you still couldn't see in it. Then when looking out of it it was even more obvious how dark it was tinted when you looked at it from the inside out while standing outside of the vehicle. I'll have to give that route a try and see how it turns out.

well with all doors open or windows down you can tell that the windshield is tinted differently making the cops think you only have a bar. And when looking at it from the inside since the 40% is polarized its easier to see out of so cops dont bother.

Thanks, I've been contemplating getting your rims for it.

Thinking about keeping it as a comp car and firing in 2 15's or a 21" DP so I'm not really in a rush to sell it. Alternator went out so the car will have a new alternator, may be a HO, depends on if mechman ever actually calls me back as he said he would...

i have 15% all the way down on the mini and behind that i have a 5% strip about 12" down from the top, and from the outside it just looks all black reguardless. cant even tell that top is 5+15 % and the bottom is only 15%.

if my windows are down you can tell a little, but with the wall in blocking the sun from the back, its harder, and with my side double 5% windows up, you really cant tell.

shame you had to peel the w/s tint

Yeah I absolutely hate it, I just haven't had a chance to get to a dr. to get a new script to submit to the state yet Once I do I'll redo 5% full until then I have to figure out another way around it... lol
