    Icon14 Jvc Kd-hdr1 Hu

I picked up a JVC KD-HDR1 HU today. I have to say its pretty nice. The first thing i noticed is the sound quality, sounds way better than my old Pioneer Deh- 5800Mp ( I know, not a high end unit ).

The HD radio surprised me, its very clear. FM radio has almost cd quality sound. I have counted at least 7 HD stations in my area and i have no problem picking up the signal.

    The bad:
Volume knob is slippery, interface is hard to navigate, it doesn't have any cool screen savers or backgrounds, but who really needs that stuff.

It has plenty of features including:

    HD radio
    7 band EQ
    Subwoofer volume and frequency control
Ability to cut the internal amp
    SRS circle surround
2.5v front and rear preamp outputs and 2.0v sub preamp output

    Overall i'm impressed with it.
