Yeh I should have waited a year for the new model truck with more room behind the seats for speakers. there is now way to fit a box behind my back seats I could just get the amp to fit. thanks anyway for the help I guess I'll just settle for what I have. AD

You'd be happier with an 8" in a proper enclosure . What toy do ya have? My tacoma has plenty of room ....if I take it down to a 3 person ride .

A double cab. I made brakets to move the back seat up and out about 2 inches to fit a box behind the seats and the amps under but I was worried about the amp not getting any air under the seat under the foam. All in all it doesn't sound bad for what I have atleast it is better than stock.

You're sure the amp is going into protect becuase its getting too hot?

Tell one person to fok off too . Three seater ftw . Then you'll have plenty of space? The model of the toy is double cab?

The amp is not under the seat know I decided to mount it to the back of the seat and put the box in front. The amp cuts out in heavy bass I adjusted the gain so that I know how far I can turn it up without it cutting out.

Re: SEALED vs PORTED (basic info.)

ummmmmmm... if you know how to fiberglass why dont you take advantage of this talent and build a box to mold to the drivers side of your cab under the jump seat )in that little storage box)? That way you lose very little space thats, being wasted anyways, and you can keep your 10" sub. I built one for (and with the help of) my father and he loves it. And, he still has room to seat his grandkids. We kept it sealed because he primarily listens to the blues (yet he likes sound quality? LOL- gotta hear the scratches on the vinyl I 'spose) If I get down there sometime soon I will post pics of our install on this thread.

Where are you talking about? Under the driver seat? I have an 03 double cab. No little sorrage box that will hold a 10". But if you know hook me up because I can make anything out of fiberglass. Thanks for the replay AD

I disagree with that. I went to an SPL competition and burped my xxx15 in an spl tuned box @56hz and burped loudest @45hz. Maybe I got your point wrong and you mean daily boxes? If so, my mistake
