    Icon12 chambers vs free air

i am building a box for 6 kicker 12s and i was wondering if free air inside the box will be ok or should i make chambers. 4 12s will be on the top of the box and the other two will be on the front side fcing away from the car and i dont know if there will be enough room for chambers for all 6 subs

No need for separate chambers, but make sure you brace it well. Double baffle would be a good idea too. Good luck!

Use one common chamber with lots of internal bracing

because the chamber can act as part of the bracing

i wouldnt do that. Yes the chamber dividers would act as bracing, but they take up more interior volume than bracing. meaning the box has to be larger.

An enclosure with no internal partitions at all.
