okay man let me tell u this whatever your song is i am willing to bet its prolly young jezzy since that is what everyone is using now adays lol but don't worry about it man cause whatever works in your car may not work in ours cause each car has a different tuning.

Jeezy 101 was the cd I used for my first comp. season now I use a eminem song that has a more consistant tone. Your right about the song's frequency but I find that alot of trunks ive dealt with peaked at around 50/55 hz depending on tuning of course

Try using Push That *****...track 8 on kings of crunk.


I built my girlfriends trunk, 2 Incriminator DR 12s and a sundown saz 1500.

Did a 145 firing back, does a 147 firing foward pushed all the way toward the back of the trunk.

Sounds great and peaks at 46 hz, in an 02 Honda Accord

Next setup will be 6 10" BL's on 2 hk401sx's then 2 gp3000d pros then 9 bls on 3 gp3000d pro..prey for me im tryin to break the 150 db mark on the TL...

Thanks best input i've gotten so far ive been trying to find ppl who are loud in an accord. I took out all the carpet and fired everything back and I like that the most but haven't had the chance to fire forward on the meter. btw u guessed the song

well believe it or not
i have 2 boxes one box is 4.5cubes tuned to 31hz with a 64.75square inch port and its subs up port up and and i do a 144.2 @ 38hz
i change boxes to a 4.3cubes tuned to 35hz with 65square inch port sub back port back and my personal best was a 144.3 @38hz

i think if i turned it around and fire the subs forward i think my number will jump to a possible 145 and change..if i do a 146 im good...for now
but i want be louder so im thinking of changing my box and building a
4.9cube (3.75 after port and sub displacement) tune to 44hz and see wat happends...forward firing

I peak at 31Hz with the HDC's, so I dropped 2dB's. HD's peaked at 34Hz and did a 149. Plan on changing up the box some next week to try and get it to peak higher as I'd like a '50 but won't sacrafice daily SQ for it so we'll see what happens...

doh! I forgot about my buddies 626 we built!

2 MT 15s and 2 crossfire 2000ds in the trunk, does a 151 and change on the dash, also 3 g31 bluetops in the back
