cut pool noodles in half and shove them on all the corners of the box then put some on the face with the subs and then put a cardobard box around that?

Aight this will be packaged at the beginning of the week more then likely. Heh, hate to see what shipping is going to be on all this stuff. RF p6001db amp, RF punch 40.2, Q-logic box, 2x MTX thunder 8000's, and a MTX amp......any ideas what shipping will be?

I shipped my RE SX to a member on the board by simply using some scrap wood left from my box build. He was VERY happy about the packaging when he received the sub.

good stuff in this thread..i work for fedex and have probably thrown alot of audio stuff. lets just say you're better off spending the money to package things correctly because ill tell you guys we are not careful with the packages sent. if care and caution was taken into consideration with every package things would take weeks to ship out.

Where can I even buy pool noodles this time of year? I looked all over town for some, and no one had any. I had to go to FedEx and get some large bubble wrap and use what noodles I had left.

IMHO never pack anything in a crate like that. My first heavy sub i shipped in a crate and boy was that a big mistake.
