looks nice man, good work.
Okay yesterday we got back to working on the car. After the 2 days of rain. We fabricated the bracket for the fuse holder, and finished the angle eye power wire and the sub connections.
Measuring the hole locations for the bracket.
Jerry's first time using a drill press I let him drill the holes.
Brackets location made some pilot holes for easier install of the taping screws.
What the bracket will look like mounted
Bracket installed
Fuse holder installed going to cover the wire in black expandable mesh tubing
The wires for the angle eyes installed all soldered to the switch
Both subs wired up to make out to 2 Ohms

Were the amp will go I am fabricating a bracket so the wires can tuck underneath it

Thanks man you it is going to be real nice. It goes in for paint in 4 weeks.....I think LOL
Haven't rely done much these past days. But here are some more panels that have been repainted.
More work after the rain stops some more real progress can begin again. LOL
Okay today we finished up the spray painting. Also made some gap brackets for the amp to sit up on so the wires can be ran underneath.
Here is Jerry cutting the wood for the gap brackets.
A look at how it will sit.
Painting them
How it looks painted it will set on top of the sub box.
The final pieces all done painting
Next pics will be speakers and head unit![]()
looks good. wish i had some car audio enthusiasts to hang out with and help out when i need it around here. u might want to reconsider mounting the amp on top of the box tho. i read on bcae.com that its not a good idea. if you go there it explains why. basically the vibrations from the box can shake the internal components loose inside the amp. im not an expert tho. maybe some experts can chime in.
