    Re: ::TESTED:: Audiopipe AP30001D

    you can wire it to 1 ohm bridged. will not operate any lower it will go into protect. to battle the imp rise you will have to test build test... it's all in the sub enclosure.

    Re: ::TESTED:: Audiopipe AP30001D

    Yes, the sub must be playing. Impedance is basically the dynamic resistance... so it needs da powah!

    Use the DMM for AC Volts on speaker terminals + a clamp meter for AC current, on one of the main the speaker wires. Play a tone just under full tilt. Record the values simultaneously (digicam helps).

    If you multiply the values (V*A), you get power.
    If you divide the values (V/A), you get impedance.

    Re: ::TESTED:: Audiopipe AP30001D

    uhhh... 4 ga can't handle 1/2 the power this amp needs, unless it's a 1 ft. section of 4 ga.

    I'd either set your gains for 1000w power, or hold off until you gets some 1/0 in there.

    i really hope this 1800.1D will be as leet as it says it is @ 1 0hm. and hopefully not be heating up.

    does anyone know the size fuses it has on it?
    whether its like, 3 x 30 amp or whatever?

    Think the AP D class use inline fusing. I know the 3000 does.
    Natural selection at work.

    They include a 200 amp fuse with the 3500 and 3000 watt amps. If you dont feel that is enough just replace it with a 300 amp fuse.
