Will This Push a JL Audio W6v2?

Hello, I currently have a Kenwood KAC-7203 pushing my Alpine Type-R 12" and I realized that since this amp is a 2 channel, I can bridge it to get 500 RMS @ 4 ohms... Unfortunately the Type R is a Dual 4 ohm subwoofer (2 ohm output), which according to my math means I cannot bridge it to the amp with it being stable. I have been doing that for over a year and have wondered why the amp has been overheating... So I am forced to push like 250 Watts of RMS out of 1 channel...

I was hoping to sell this amp and get an Alpine MRP-M650 (600RMS @ 2 ohms)for an affordable replacement that can push the Type R. But at the same time I would like to upgrade to a W6v2 in the future eventually.

Is this even worth it? What do you guys recommend I should do?

    Thanks in Advance!
