they get a lot of respect among the budget brands. If they are over-rated it's not by much. Really pretty decent amps - especially for the money.

I have a Profile AP1000 and it works great for me. Gives my sub the right amount of power. Great for the price.

btw, if you're going to buy online.. go to www.millionbuy.com to buy the AP1200. I think its only about $110 on that site. Good place to buy from my previous experience. Just trying to help you save that $$$$$$$$$ lol

I use to have a 600MSX. One of my favorite amps that I've owned. Its on its third owner and it's still pounding away.

You're right it is only $110 at millionbuy. For the extra $60 buying from Crutchfield you get a valid 3yr warranty. To me that would make it worth it for an amp that gives ya 200w/channel and 36 months of guaranteed service.

But if warranty isn't that important to you then certainly the millionbuy option is a good one. That amp is well worth $100....7 days a week and twice on Sunday. They're great entry-level amps. I've owned several and everyone that has been sold when I upgraded is still working just fine for their new owners. Go ahead and get ya one.

Good amps. The one I had used to get hot, but it still was a great deal at its price.

I've been using them for years, very pleased with the quality you get for the price. And their customer service is fantastic.I've gone hard on my amps during 6 hour road trips, with of course the stop for food and guess every now and then.Mixed in with when my ears couldn't take it anymore. They got hot, but never shut down.
